Education Program

From the Streets to the Campus

The foundation began by working with partner organizations and universities to open scholarship opportunities for indigent but deserving students.

Education batch

The program began when the foundation approached the Missionaries of Charity and the Mother of Divine Providence organizations to offer educational scholarships to indigent high school graduates in their respective areas. This eventually led to the foundation partnering with various universities to screen and select scholarship applications.

Charity First Foundation Inc. began with 40 scholars in 2002 and currently has a total of 330 scholars. To date, Charity First has seen a total of 654 graduates in various fields such as education, accountancy, engineering, nursing, social work, banking and finance, and vocational and technological courses.
